To the delight of every foodie I know, Taste of London is returning to the city once again and running from 14 to 18 June 2023.
High profile restaurants, top-notch chefs, and artisan producers will descend on Regents Park for the food festival everyone has come to love and to celebrate all things gastronomic. Taste of London brings over 150+ various dishes for visitors to sample, enjoy, and discover new favourites. To be honest, that’s our favourite (delicious) part….

What to Expect from Taste of London?
An assortment of tasty, tantalising, and sensational flavours which will make your tastebuds dance, your tummy rumble, and heart sing. In short, there’s a smorgasbord of delicious foods on offer! Thousands of visitors will pour through the gates with a keen desire to sample anything and everything from the 36 restaurants and 150 speciality producers which will have a presence onsite, not to mention, savouring the many cooking demonstrations taking place over the five sumptuous days!
What’s On for 2023?
If previous years are anything to go by, there will be plenty on offer! Whilst details are slowly being released in the lead up to June, we can attest from our previous visits that there will be much to do, eat, and experience during your time at Taste of London. Alongside the cornucopia of foodie delights on offer, there will be a variety of masterclasses and experiences to enjoy as well. Here’s a selection of highlights that have made our To Visit List!
Flames of Portugal Cook School
If Portuguese-style cuisine is on your must-eat list when you’re going to want to join this free masterclass and take part in the open fire cooking demonstrations and then sample the chefs signature dishes which are, of course, paired with wines.
The Taste Fire Pit
The Taste Fire Pit will be place to be for a variety of flaming fun chef demos so bring your appetite for all things foodie-related to the Taste Fire Pit
Illy: Universita del Caffe
We don’t believe there’s such a thing as too much coffee so one of the first places we’ll be visiting will be the illy: Universita del Caffe for a coffee masterclass!
Burger & Lobster
You have to commend Burger & Lobster, they deliver exactly what they promise! Russ still fondly remembers visiting Burger & Lobster for a work meal a few years ago, he opted for the lobster roll and has stated on many occasions that he’d visit again in a heartbeat. I guess we know where we’ll be heading at this year’s Taste of London.
Macellaio RC
We absolutely adore Italian cuisine, which probably explains why Bologna is one of our favourite foodie destinations, and also explains why we have a visit to Macellaio RC on our To Eat List! We’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the love, care, and attention given to every dish so our tummies are already rumbling!

Taste of London – Years gone by…
Until we have more updates to share about Taste of London 2023, here’s some insights from our visit in years gone by…
If your pants are bursting at the seams, fear not. It is definitely not time to leave! Talks and cooking demonstrations are a part of the schedule. This year, AEG is running a Tasteology masterclass, Cocktail bars and tastings are a plenty. AEG is running a live Taste Theatre experience with some world-renowned chefs.
Asda teamed up with Leith’s School of Food & Wine to educate patrons on meat cuts and cooking methods right in time for the summer BBQ season. I got a front row seat and thoroughly enjoyed the session on cuts of beef.
2016 was the year we got the opportunity to cook with School of Wok star Jeremy Pang! Incredible experience to cook with authentic Asian woks as well as sample delectable scallops.
Insider tips
Those planning a visit to the Taste of London should consider planning their route around the exhibitors. It’s busy, it’s crowded and you really don’t want to miss out on ‘that’ morsel of delishness. I suggest you download a copy of the venue map from the Taste Festivals website.
Being a slightly freakishly organised human, I printed the menu in A3 and trawled through it with a highlighter in hand, marking all dishes of interest and cross referencing this against the exhibitor list and the map and planned my route accordingly.
